Life After Salary

About Life After Salary

Life After Salary is run by Sagar Saroy. He spent twenty-nine years in corporate India. In 2007 he started an SIP and paid it for nearly four years, through the 2008 crash. When he extended his real returns forward, they did not come close to the promise. In 2012 he bought the smallest flat in a residential society, a 1RK, and turned it into a 1BHK so it rented like one. By 2015 the rent across his properties covered every EMI. By 2019 he was financially free. He left corporate life at fifty and wrote The Last Salary: Cash Flow, Not Corpus.

This site is where the book turns into practice: tools to measure where you stand, and a community of people walking the same road.
